Tudor Workshop

On Thursday we were visited by Catherine Hammond from Epping Forest District Museum and we learned a lot about Tudor life. Here are some great photos:

Your homework this weekend is to write about the workshop. Remember to include:

  • What you enjoyed
  • What you found out
  • What was the most surprising thing you learned?
  • What else would you like to find out about?

Post your write-up in the comments box by Monday 28th November.

Hansel and Gretel

Your homework is to read the story of Hansel and Gretel to make sure you are really familiar with it. If you don’t have a copy of it at home, you can find it via the attached web link:

Remember, remember the fifth of November…….

November 5th is when we remember the thwarting of the Gunpowder Plot, and Guy Fawkes’ role in the conspiracy. Were his actions those of a hero or a terrorist? Write your opinion as a comment, and don’t forget to explain why you think as you do!
