Lochinver house school went to St Albans Abbey on the twentieth of june 2014. We took a brief ride from our school to the church. First we put our lunch in a special area where chapter rooms took place. We had been split into tutor groups and half of us did the dissolution of the monasteries trail or you did brass rubbing. After lunch we would swap over and do what the other group did.
MY favourite was Brass Rubbing because it was way more creative but slightly less interesting whereas The dissolution of the monasteries was very interesting but not as fun.
I would recommend this trip to all schools that are learning about the Tudor Reign.
Thank You
